On, Saturday, Nov. 10th, more than 250 Singers alums, parents and current troupe members attended our reunion celebration weekend which included outstanding performances by the 40th anniversary Wisconsin Singers, a tremendous win by the Badger football team, and Friday and Saturday receptions.
The Saturday evening banquet program was MC’d by Paul Luehrsen with help from Dave Chase, Mindy Nelson-Bergman and Mike Mood. The Singers presented our treasured bus drivers, Eldon Himsel and Dennis Laufenberg, with handmade plates commemorating their many years of love and support. All in attendance also signed framed photos of each driver put together by parent alum, Caroline Hanson. The entire weekend of events was planned by our Singers reunion committee, which included Paul Luehrsen, Mindy Nelson-Bergman, Caroline Hanson, Judy Novotny, Marsha Mood, Nancy Walsh-Boeder, Jamie and Jim Sercombe, and Robin Whitty-Novotny.
