ANNOUNCING... Arlie's “Future’s in the Balance” Campaign

Financial challenges facing the Singers...

More than fifteen years ago, the Singers lost all funding from the University and are entirely financially independent. Each year, we have to raise more than $50,000 above and beyond concert sponsorships to meet our budgetary needs.

A dynamic program...

The Wisconsin Singers program is unique amongst its collegiate peers. With a student staff of 15 and a compliment of tremendously talented troupe members, the Singers travel to more than 40 communities each year as representatives of the University. Without exception, these students are dedicated, energetic, responsible and generous. They give their time because of their passion for performing while understanding the importance of exploring their own special gifts of musicianship.

Educating future leaders of the world...

These young people will go on to brilliant careers in anything they choose, having learned the strong organizational and work skills necessary to balance their lives as students and performers. Being a member of the Singers is a predictor of a successful career as each student learns to create his/her own future through the irreplaceable experiences as performers, staff members, public relations representatives and clinicians for aspiring musicians.

Providing family entertainment...

More than 50,000 people each year enjoy the professional performances of the Singers. The Singers show receives rave reviews for the exceptional quality of song, dance, and musical variety while maintaining our reputation as a show the entire family can enjoy.

Helping local organizations...

Local booster groups and service groups have found that Singers can assist them in raising dollars for their own important efforts. The Wisconsin Singers show helps to raise thousands of dollars each year for everything from college scholarships to music programs.
