Why Collin Chose His Major: "I love thinking logically and solving puzzles. I'm also very progressive, and believe that innovation through technology and computers is the next big step for society. I taught myself to code six years ago, and haven't stopped since, I can continue to do all of these things under the computer science major."

Favorite Things: "Performing, writing music, producing videos, teaching and working with kids, and playing piano are just a few of the things I love doing."

Dislikes: "Honestly, I can't think of anything I dislike. "

Favorite Place In Collin's Home-State: "On my High School stage, performing, practicing, or just messing around with other drama kids."

Favorite Place on Campus: I have no clue, but I'm excited to find out!

One Word That Describes Collin's Personality: Optimistic

Favorite Color: Sea Foam Green

When Collin was a kid, he wanted to be a: "Music Teacher (and still do!)"

Favorite Music Groups/Acts: "My favorite genres are Jazz and the Romantic period of orchestral music. If I had to pick an absolute favorite, I'd say The Planets Suite by Gustav Holst. I know it makes me seem like a total nerd, but I really like reorchestrated versions of video game themes, too. Oh, and Bruno Mars is pretty good too. Probably should've just opened with that."

If Collin had a free night to do whatever he wanted, he would: "I would drive back home to the Falls and spend the night writing music, watching cheesy horror movies, eating too much, and just being a dork with my old high school theater friends."

Hero/Heroine: "Lin-Manuel Miranda, and not just because of Hamilton. He's a poet and music theory genius who can weave musical themes through each other as easily as he was able to keep weaving music throughout his life. "

Goals as a Wisconsin Singer: "I think Wisconsin Singers can teach me a lot about improving myself as a performer. I have a solid technical understanding of music, but I've never had singing lessons or taken dance classes. I hope to learn more about performing through the incredibly talented people in this group alongside me. I hope to become the best version of myself I can be, and I know that I can let that side of myself out through the Wisconsin Singers."
