Sports/Clubs/Orgs Matt Participated in: "Throughout high school I was involved in  band, choir, theatre, golf, tennis, National Honor Society, Boy Scouts, and FIRST Robotics as well as numerous volunteer groups. I have enjoyed playing guitar, piano, and drums in addition to my other activities. I am also involved in the Concrete Canoe Team on campus."

Awards Received: "I have received the Tommy Award for Outstanding Lighting Design, Louis Armstrong Jazz Award, Eagle Scout Award, Aquinas Varsity Tennis MVP, and the Dean’s List."

Leadership Experience: Various experiences in Boy Scouts of America, and design and build team leader on FIRST Robotics team.

Why Matt Chose His Major: "I have always been fascinated by how mechanical things work and the design process behind them. My goal is to design products for a company within the music or AV production industries."

Favorite Things: Producing music with friends, camping, fishing, and playing tennis.

Dislikes: "Long lines, and words that don't follow the " i before e except after c " rule"

Favorite Place In Matt's Home-State: "My favorite place in Wisconsin is a cabin my family rents on Lake Sissabagama outside of Hayward, Wisconsin. I get to fish, waterski, swim, and spend quality time with my family."

When Matt was a kid, he wanted to be a: Optometrist

Favorite Music Groups/Acts: “Currently, my favorites are, Vulfpeck, Jamiroquai, Bruno Mars, Snarky Puppy, and Lawrence.”

If Matt had a free night to do whatever he wanted, he would: "Have a campfire on a secluded lake with friends, playing music and looking at the stars."

Hero/Heroine: "My hero is my father because he gives so much of himself to others and never asks for anything in return."

Goals as a Wisconsin Singer: "To inspire as many people as possible to pursue what they love doing by seeing the joy that performance brings me."
