Why Melanie Chose Her Major: "I have always been interested in how the mind works, how it affects our behavior and decisions, and how mental illness can affect the processes. With a certificate in criminal justice I hope to be able to counsel and help rehabilitate those involved in our criminal justice system, especially juveniles."
Favorite Things: My friends and family, musicals, Noodles and Company, my pet bird Chico, flowers, frozen yogurt, and peaches.
Dislikes: Chewing noises, sunburn, spiders, spicy food, and cooked carrots.

If Melanie had a free night to do whatever she wanted, she would: Spend a night with my friends and binge eat Noodles and Company while binge watching Criminal Minds, The Office, and Gossip Girl.
