Sports/Clubs/Orgs Rose Participated in: "I've participated in soccer from freshman year to sophomore year and decided to stop because of academics. The clubs I've participated in throughout my high school career include: Drama Club, Jazz, HOSA, National Honor Society, and Japanese club. I also participated in the Honors band beginning sophomore year through senior year."

Awards Received: Academic Honors all four years, an Outstanding Musician award, and a Letter in National Honor Society.

Why Rose Chose His Major: "I have always had a strange fascination with the human brain and after attending the fifty-first Nobel Conference, I was set on becoming a neurologist. I wanted a job where I could help people and apply research skills."

Favorite Things:  "I really enjoy making music and listening to music. I also enjoy to read, write, and travel."

Dislikes: "I really don't like badly written romance novels and mosquitoes."

Favorite Place In Rose's Home-State: "Door County! I love going cherry picking in late summer and visiting Sturgeon Bay for Pumpkin Patch in the fall."

Favorite Place on Campus: "I'm not really sure yet, but downtown is always a good place to explore."

Favorite Music Groups/Acts: "I delve into probably any genre imaginable, but find my roots to be in early-2000s to present day alternative rock. I also know a lot of 60s, 70s, and 80s music. My favorite groups are Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, Imagine Dragons, Death Cab for Cutie, and a lot of others I can't think of at the moment. "

If Rose had a free night to do whatever he wanted, he would: "Probably stay in and watch a bunch of Netflix or hang out with a friend."

Hero/Heroine: "My grandpa would be my hero because he reflects who I want to be as a person. He was hardworking, loving, and treated every person differently according to their needs. "

Goals as a Wisconsin Singer: "I want to become more comfortable playing in front of an audience. I've had stage fright for years but by continuing to perform throughout the years, I've gotten more at ease during performances. I also want to be able to open myself up to/meet other cool people. "
